Frequently Asked Question
As a therapist, I strive to create a collaborative and non-judgmental space to help you feel comfortable from the start. In our initial sessions, we’ll explore your life journey through thoughtful questions to gain a deeper understanding of your experiences and set meaningful goals for therapy. Our time together will offer a safe space to share, gain perspective, and uncover new insights. I’ll help you challenge unhelpful thoughts, provide constructive feedback, and guide you in developing effective coping skills. Therapy is a mix of introspection, growth, and even moments of laughter, and I’m here to support you every step of the way toward the change you are looking for.
I meet with the majority of my clients on a weekly basis. Once I feel that enough treatment goals have been met, we may decrease the frequency to every other week.
The answer depends on what you are coming to see me for. Many clients find that issues such as panic attacks can be resolved in 3-6 months. Other issues, such as dealing with complex trauma are usually 12-36 months.
